Would you like to design a poster for the Schooner Mira?
We are looking for creative people who would like to contribute their art and make Mira's visit to Dragør in August 2026 an even more special event!
Design a poster
Participants can submit one original poster created using a technique of their choice: illustration, photography, graphic design, digital media or mixed media.
Relationship to Dragør
The connection to Dragør must be clear, and the elements must include our ship, the sea and the community.
We are open to creative interpretations of these.
Submission requirements
Create a high-resolution PDF file (<10 MB):
image 300 dpi in 4-color process (CMYK)
Name the file in the following format: FirstName_LastName_MiraPlakat2026
Prize
The winner will receive a sailing trip aboard Mira for 2 people in Dragør + a framed, high-quality print of the finished poster. (Total value approx. 1000 DKK).
Priority to local artists
We give a special advantage to artists with ties to Dragør or the region, as we want to promote the locals.
But everyone is encouraged to participate!
Original artwork only
We would like to emphasize that we are looking for original artwork, so works that are generated by AI or not created by the participating artist themselves will be excluded from the competition.

The organizer of the poster competition "Mira visits Dragør" is Skonnerten MIRA, Strandgade 54, 1401 Copenhagen K, CVR 27931286
The following personal information is collected upon submission:
Name, email address
The information will be used exclusively for the purpose of participating in this competition.
The personal data will be deleted after the competition has ended.
You have the right to object to the processing of your data to the organizer, in which case this information will be deleted immediately.
You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this competition.
The winning poster and the name of the designer will be published on the final poster design and on social media.
The winning artwork is licensed under the Creative Commons CC BY-SA 4.0 license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/deed.en).
Attribution and/or redistribution are subject to the same terms.
The schooner MIRA has the right to use the transferred rights commercially to refinance the competition, for example by selling the motifs as posters, postcards and/or as part of the advertised sailing trips.
Only original works created exclusively for the competition by the person submitting the artwork to us will be considered.
Please
do not submit existing posters or works for which you do not own the copyright (including works generated by artificial intelligence).
By submitting your work, you accept all of these points.
