Experience the Folkemødet on Bornholm with the Schooner MIRA

Take part in Denmark's largest democracy festival, Folkemødet, in a completely unique way by sailing on the historic schooner MIRA from 1898.

Folkemødet is an annual political festival that takes place in Allinge on Bornholm. Here politicians, citizens, business people and organizations meet to debate and discuss society's challenges and opportunities. The festival offers open debates, cultural events and workshops, all aimed at strengthening democracy through dialogue and community.

Experience the journey to Folkemødet in a traditional and authentic maritime style by sailing with MIRA from Copenhagen to Tejn. Along the way, you can enjoy the fresh sea air, actively participate in the sailing and learn about traditional seamanship. Upon arrival in Tejn, MIRA is docked, where you have the opportunity to stay on board during the entire Folkemødet. After the festival ends, we sail back to Copenhagen.

Practical information

• Departure: Copenhagen, June 10 at 6:00 PM, possibly June 11 in the morning.
• Arrival: Tejn Harbor, 10 min bike ride from Allinge.
• Accommodation: On board MIRA during the entire Folkemødet.
• Return trip: Arrival Copenhagen June 15.
• Food: on the return voyage, all meals are included.
• Food during the Folkemøde: Breakfast is included during the Folkemøde 12-13-14 June.
• Price: DKK 9,000 per person for the whole week.
